There are 11 nominations for the César Awards, the most prestigious awards in French cinema, earned by Leos Carax’s Annette presented in Teatro Petruzzelli last September as part of Bif&st 2021, with the director in attendance. Carax’s film was nominated for Best Feature Film, Best Directing, Best Actor (Adam Driver), Best Original Screenplay (Leos Carax, Ron Mael, Russell Mael), Best Original Score (Ron Male, Russell Mael) and for sound, cinematography, editing, costume design, production design and for the best visual effects.
